CBA ranks #1 among private schools in Putnam County and in the local tri-county area in annual achievement testing scores for students. CBA consistently ranks well-above the national percentile averages on standardized tests each year, and most graduates receive college scholarships for their high ACT/SAT test scores and are well-prepared for college. 


Calvary Baptist Academy is dedicated to offering a quality, Christian education for families at an affordable cost. CBA seeks to help families financially and also is an educational service provider of the Hope Scholarship in West Virginia. 


CBA is fully accredited by ACSI through the 2029 school year. CBA has highly qualified teachers and staff members who are dedicated to serving families and their students. CBA is an accredited, registered exemption (K) school with the WVDE (West Virginia Department of Education).
