What are the expectations of students at CBA? What are some of the core beliefs and values we want to incorporate into the lives of our students? 

Students who graduate from Calvary Baptist Academy will be...

CHRIST-LIKE

1. Students will have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. (Col. 3:1-3)

​

2. Students will be actively involved in a local church. (Heb. 10:24-25, Col. 3:16)

​

3. Students will be disciple-makers of others. (Mat. 28:19)

​

4. Students will be servant-leaders in the community. (Phil. 2:3-7)

​

5. Students will be submissive to the Holy Spirit in their lives. (Gal. 5:25, 2 Cor. 3:18)

COMPASSIONATE

​

1. Students will value ALL people as being made in the image of God. (Gen. 1:27)

​

2. Students will be responsible caretakers of creation. (Gen. 1:26)

​

3. Students will show hospitality to others especially those in the family of God. (Gal. 6:10, Rom. 12:13)

​

4. Students will exhibit the fruits of the Spirit in their relationships with others. (Gal. 5:22-23)

COMPETENT​

1. Students will be proficient in core academic subjects. (Col. 3:17)

2. Students will be life-long learners. (2 Tim. 3:14, Phil. 3:13-14)
